Christopher Rance Mack
Birthplace: Anderson, SC Birth date: January 29, 1972
I grew up in Pageland, South Carolina, attending Petersburg Elementary School, Pageland Middle School, and Central High School. From there, I attended Clemson University. In the spring of 1995, I did my student teaching at Westminster Middle School in Westminster, South Carolina. I received a minor in music along with my Bachelor of Science degree in Science Teaching in August of 1995.
I took my first job at my high school alma mater, Central High. I taught CP Biology, Applied Biology, Integrated Science (School-within-a-School), Intro to Manufacturing (FAMS), and Audio/ Visual Productions. I was also an assistant with the marching band and a track coach during my three years at Central.
My fourth year out of college, I took a Chemistry position at Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I have been working with Rock Hill High's Band of Distinction since 1998, while teaching a variety of science courses. I also coached track my first three years at RHHS.
While working in Rock Hill, I taught night school at The Learning Center in Fort Mill for twelve semesters. I taught several courses to “last chance” students in an alternative school setting.I also taught Geometry during summer school in Fort Mill.
